Ask us about other printing needs such as vinyl banners, bumper stickers and buttons! Also ask about rhinestones and studs.

Bulk screen printing in spot colors.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I felt I could take the business to the next level, expand the reach and the market and give back to the community.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Ours is a non-profit business which seeks to provide a track record for those who have been marginalized and out of work for some time. In addition, 10% of our proceeds fund the Women Alive! Emergency Shelter -- the only walk-in, no-questions-asked shelter for women in Monterey County.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location at present in addition to attending the Salinas Farmer's Market in Oldtown each week.
Provide detailed directions to your location
Where West Market Street in Salinas transitions to East Market Street and Sherwood Drive, take Market Way for two blocks to Soledad Street (One Way Street). Drive past Dorothy's Place (on your left) to the building with the large sign saying @Risk. We are in #15.

Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Peter Maurin Screen Printers is owned by the Franciscan Workers of Junipero Serra (Dorothy's Place), but the workers handle daily operations. The Manager is Michael J. Scharen.
What are your hours of operation?
Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. But if no one is in the front, we are working in the back room. Just go through the center door and down to the end of the hall. This is our Print Room.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
The best compliment anyone could give us is that they are happy with the quality of our work and that they will either be back or recommend us to another.
