Video alert monitoring, guard and patrol services
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was in the Air Force and Army in both fields I had to deal with security when I got out I began working for various security companies while I put myself through the police academy.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I found that most of my competition lack quality training for the guards and pay wages similar to fast food vendors. So in essence the same employee quality is in both jobs. I believe you should expect more from the person representing the company and in order to get that you need to start with a fair wage. (you get what you pay for) Quality costs more money but you will have a real value for your dollar. If your paying less to save money you may as well keep the money and not pay anything because if there were an incident the person handling it that was working at the BK an hour ago is probably not going to help the client any. He may even cause a problem that makes the situation worse.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I operate out of the South Santa Cruz County area and would consider expanding to other areas if a client made it worth while for us.
