Fourtané Estate Jewelers first offered its unique jewels and objects d'art to residents and visitors to historic Carmel in 1950. Today, Fourtané Estate Jewelers is one of the leading estate jewelry and vintage watch retail stores in the country. Although the clientele now spans the globe and the store has significantly expanded, the original small, friendly, and personalized atmosphere remains unchanged.
Owner John Bonifas, who has forty-seven years of jewelry experience, took over the business almost thirty years ago bringing new life to the store, as well as to Carmel's jewelry trade. Since then, Mr. Bonifas has acquired one of the finest collections in the nation, consisting of authentic fine antique and estate watches and jewelry from the 1800's to present day. “The search for the finest and most beautiful jewels is thankfully never ending.” says Mr. Bonifas.
Beauty, fine craftsmanship, uniqueness and value are the cornerstones of Fourtané Estate Jewelers' philosophy on buying and selling jewelry and watches. Each piece is personally selected by John Bonifas from private collections, estate dealers, and bank vaults from around the world, offering the public a unique opportunity to view the rarest jewels and watches in the world.
Fourtané is proud to be family owned and operated by the Bonifas Family. Owners, John and Sandy Bonifas, run their business alongside their two sons, Joshua and Kristofer.
